We are so excited to have such wonderful members of our community. Nikki has been absolutely incredible with her support, and her excitement is contagious! When pondering ways to make our Winter Drop a little extra special, Nikki stepped up to provide us with some of the most adorable crotchet scarves and hats. "I’m Nikki, a 28 year old currently living in Tampa Florida with my boyfriend and our pets. I was born and raised in New York, but moved to Florida to go to USF for an interpreting degree in America sign language. My life got turned a bit upside down with medical problems in 2015. This threw me off my career goals quite a bit and I struggled to find a hobby and I quickly realized how unrealistic working was becoming. Luckily, in January of 2016 I was able to get a hip replacement. My awesome physical therapist taught me the basic stitch of crochet when I was living in a rehabilitation center in the months following the surgery and I have been teaching myself all things crochet ever since. I have loved the opportunity to bring these scarves and hats to Rachel’s creations. I mostly love seeing the joy in people when receiving something handmade which is the best part of making things from scratch." - Nikki
